Welcome address of the FIG President

Dear Friends,
I would like to seize the opportunity of this Colloquium to express you my support and my congratulations for this initiative.
As a matter of fact, the judge is a key element – as is the gymnast – in the heart of gymnastics and everything must be done so that he has all tools, the knowledge and the experience which allow him to accomplish his tasks under the best conditions.
Judging is difficult. I am well aware of this as I too have assumed this responsibility. This is also a reason why I am very pleased with the initiative of the European Union of Gymnastics which will contribute to increase the quality level of the judgement for the good of our sport.
With my compliments.

Prof. Bruno GRANDI, President.

Welcome message of the UEG President

Dear Sirs, Dear Friends,
Following the excellent welcome our member federations have reserved for the 1st MAG Judges’ Colloquium, the MTC as well as the UEG did not hesitate to organise this second edition.
We are very grateful to the FIG for the generous support, but also to the responsible persons of the German Gymnastics Federation, the DTB, for having accepted to organise once again this important event in Frankfurt; this will allow us to increase even more the level of judgement.
The members of the MTC/UEG, under the presidency of Jacky Wischnia, have worked very hard and we express them our gratitude for having spared no effort to make this 2nd Colloquium once again a great success so that this meeting becomes an essential part of the UEG programme.
I wish you all a successful Colloquium and a pleasant stay in Frankfurt.
With my compliments.

EUROPEAN UNION OF GYMNASTICS

Georges GUELZEC, President.
